[vc_row][\/vc_row][vc_column][\/vc_column][vc_column_text]La Ciotat Shipyards revealed last Tuesday that it awarded the design-build for their future shiplift for mega-yachts<\/a> to a partnership between the French company Mati\u00e8re and the US corportation Bardex group.\u00a0 As Jean-Yves Saussol, CEO of La Ciotat Shipyards pointed out; “the fact that half of the contract\u2019s added value goes to a French manufacturer is hugely satisfying.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

The decision follows a competitive procedure. Mati\u00e8re and Bardex has shown their techno-economic superiority to challenge other operators better established in the yachting sector.\u00a0 As with their 2,000t lift, La Ciotat Shipyards has demonstrated its capacity to think outside the box in order to find the best technical solutions.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, The platform lift will be designed to handle yachts up to 4,300
\ntonnes and 105 metres long. Thje design phase is launched and date building work starts\u00a0 on March 2020 !
